Fresh products from the region
Twice a week, Lingen’s town center is transformed into a big farmer’s market. On Wednesdays and Saturdays, regional merchants offer goods produced locally. The goods include cheese, cold cuts, meat, fish, fruit, vegetables, honey, and flowers. They can scarcely be fresher. In the relaxed atmosphere, people living in Emsland group together, exchanging the latest news. Or, as they say here, they have their “Klönschnack”.
