In around eight weeks, new trainees will start their apprenticeship with ROSEN. Our traditional trainee barbecue recently took place in the company restaurant ROFRESH, giving the new colleagues their first opportunity to get to know each other and gain an insight into our company.
At the beginning of the evening, the new colleagues from the manufacturing area were given their future work clothes. Everyone then gathered in the company restaurant for the “official" part of the event. Here, the organizers and trainers introduced themselves and gave an overview of the evening's schedule.
A Snowball Fight to Get to Know Each Other
In a creative round of introductions, everyone had the opportunity to get to know each other through a snowball fight with profiles. Everyone wrote their profile on a piece of paper, crumpled it up into a 'snowball' and threw it into the crowd. After this, each person chose one of the snowballs and then went in search of the person described.
This was followed by a round of questions with the help of a dice. Each throw of the dice resulted in a different question that had to be answered, which made for a lot of fun and interesting conversations. This allowed the participants to get a first impression of each other in a relaxed and playful way.
Questions, Insights and ROTea
Afterwards, the instructors and their trainees were able to exchange ideas and answer questions. The first separate contact with the new trainee colleagues from their own department also took place here. They gave them a comprehensive insight into the world of ROSEN.
The evening ended on a cozy note with a delicious barbecue and our refreshing ROTea. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the participants, trainers, trainees and especially the ROFRESH team for making the evening such a success. We are already looking forward to welcoming our new trainees in August.
