We are deeply concerned by the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine. The ROSEN Group is active in both Ukraine (around 60 employees) and Russia (around 40 employees), and has operated offices in both countries for a number of years. Both Service Operations are entrusted with providing administrative support to customer projects in Central and Eastern Europe.
President Hermann Rosen says "We are a private company with strong family values. This means that the most important thing for us is the safety and integrity of our employees and their families, with no exceptions. This is why we are in very close contact with our employees who are affected by the conflict, and we are offering them the individual support they need in this difficult situation quickly and without any bureaucratic hurdles. This also includes financial assistance. I have therefore decided to set up a fund of one million euros in emergency aid for our affected employees and their families."
We are monitoring the situation very closely and we are in close contact with our employees on site. There are currently no ROSEN employees in our office in Kyiv and no business activity is possible in Ukraine at the moment.
The ROSEN Group is active worldwide in the inspection of critical infrastructure to ensure the safety of industrial assets, and thus protects both people and the environment. In both Ukraine and Russia we have previously performed pipeline inspections for large state-owned and private companies in the energy industry. However, business in both countries makes up a comparatively small share of the ROSEN Group's total commercial volume.
ROSEN takes the international sanctions imposed by the European Union very seriously, and will always comply with them.
In Russia, any ongoing inspection projects will be concluded in a professional manner.
We do not start any new service projects in Russia at present.
