Our company sports team tennis was able to defend its championship title for the second time in a row, thus making the triple perfect. The team has succeeded in winning the "Grand Slam" of the Lingen company sports championships, so that the trophy, which has already adorned the Rotrium for two years, will now remain with us permanently.
A Great Season
"The 2022 season was particularly fun for us because, unlike in previous years, we played mostly outside on the clay courts and not indoors. Fortunately, the weather was ideal for this. The fact that we also managed to win the triple makes it all the more enjoyable," said team captain Markus, summing up the season.
Our second team was also able to play a great season and reached third place in League C with the same points as the first and second-placed teams. The tennis division of the Betriebssportverband Lingen is divided into the three leagues A, B and C. The matches are played in three doubles per match day. In addition to the sporting ambition, the main focus is of course on having fun.
